I received a w-2 from Lincoln Financial for short term disability. It doesn't have income listed in box 1. Only in box 12a. How do I report this?

Add the information in your tax return just as it is written on the W-2. Make sure to include the letter code for box 12a. This will direct where this information is included in your tax return.

For disability pay, if code J is used, this indicates that it is non-taxable sick pay.
